Has any EXPERIENCED dog owner here owned a Doberman before? Please look!?

I've had a whole range of dogs from Cocker Spaniels to Rough Collies to German Shepherds to a Westie Terrier and most recently a Border Collie x Boxer. Not anytime in the near future but definitely sometime in my future I am interested in owning a Doberman Pinscher. If anyone could please answer a few questions, I would greatly appreciate it!

-For those with small children in the family: Is it true they are too protective of young children and therefore have problems around their playmates when rough housing, etc.?

-How easy/difficult compared to other dogs you've owned was it to house train and teach simple tricks? (i.e. sit, stay, leave it)

-Were you able to socialize your dog enough so it was not too dog aggressive? Dogs you bring home as new pets as well as strangers dogs. Barking and nervous growl is okay, attacking is not.

-How sensitive was your dogs to strangers? Were they biters, growlers, or just shy?
